Data deletion

Delete your VoiceQuote data

Delete a workspace and everything in it

The workspace owner can do this at any time, from the web dashboard rather than the mobile app: sign in, open Settings, and use Delete workspace in the danger zone. You are asked to type the workspace name to confirm, and the name is checked on the server, so a mistaken tap cannot delete anything. Only the owner can do it.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery period and no backup you can restore from, so export first if you want a copy.

The export contains your workspace and subscription details, the member list, customers, the service catalogue, quotations with their lines and the version snapshots of what was actually sent, jobs with their checklists, change orders, signed completions and payments, the inventory ledger, voice transcripts and AI drafts, your activity log, and any support sessions opened against the workspace.

Two things are deliberately left out. Credentials: the access-token hashes for public quote and job links, and the notification tokens of your team's phones, because exporting what reaches a customer's quote or a person's phone would be a liability rather than portability — the rest of those records (when a link was issued and opened, which phones were registered) is included. And our AI metering of the workspace, which is our record of your usage rather than your own business data.

Uploaded files — recordings, job photos, your logo — are not inside the JSON. Their records are, including the path each one was stored at, but if you want the files themselves, download them before you delete.

What is deleted

Everything belonging to that workspace, removed by database cascade rather than a best-effort sweep: customers, the service catalogue, quotations and their version history, public quote links, jobs, schedules, checklists and photo evidence, change orders, signatures, payments and receipts, inventory items, warehouses and stock movements, voice recordings and their transcripts and AI drafts, team memberships and invitations, and the workspace's activity log.

That includes the uploaded files themselves, not only the records pointing at them: the audio in the private recordings bucket, job evidence photos, and any logo you uploaded are deleted in the same operation.

What deleting a workspace does not remove

Your sign-in account itself. Deleting a workspace removes the workspace and its data; the login that owned it continues to exist so that you can still sign in — for example if you belong to another workspace.

Deleting the account is a separate action, at Settings → Delete your account. It removes your login and takes you out of every workspace you belong to, and it does not delete workspaces other people still own. If you are the only owner of a workspace, that page names it and asks you to delete it or make someone else an owner first — otherwise it would be left with nobody able to reach it. The page stays reachable even once you belong to no workspace at all. If anything goes wrong, or you cannot sign in, use the support channel shown inside your account.

Quotes you already sent to a customer may also exist in that customer's email inbox. We cannot reach those, and deleting your workspace does not recall them.

Data we may keep after deletion

Records we are required to keep for legal, tax, security, or dispute reasons — for example billing records where a payment was taken. These are kept only for as long as that obligation lasts, and are not used to provide the service to you afterwards.
